Spindle is a research entity working with financial tech companies to build new and exciting technology. The current research program we are running aims to improve the credit approval process for loans and insurance. By empowering workers with full access and control of their work history and employment data, financial companies need to rely less on outdated models like credit scores. The goal of our research is to learn more about payroll processes and systems in order to put people in charge of their own data.

Are you a real company? How do I know that you’re legit?

We understand that there are websites out there designed to trick people into buying items or getting your credit card information. We’ll never ask you to pay for services or store your credit card information. We will need some personal information to transfer funds to your bank account, but that information in no way would allow us to do anything other than deposit funds into your account once you’ve been validated and cleared to participate in our research. We’re 100% real and we’ve worked with thousands of happy users, here’s some reviews you can dive into. If you have additional questions, send us an email and one of our team members would be happy to chat with you.

What do I need to do to be a part of your research program?

Participating in our research program is easy and quick. Simply sign up on one of our research websites or email us for more information on how to participate.

Will you give my information to third parties?

We never sell, share, or reuse your information, and all of your information is kept stored inside Spindle’s servers, which are encrypted and protected.

Is the information I share with you safe?

Yes, all our your information is encrypted using the Google Advanced Encryption Standard.

Can you see my information?

Yes, Spindle staff have access to your information but cannot see your password. To safeguard your details, we monitor and log any use of your information by any Spindle representative.

Does my employer know about you? Are you partners with my employer?

For your anonymity and to maintain confidentiality, your employer is not notified of your participation with Spindle, and we operate independently from them as well.

Will I get in trouble for sharing my account access with you?

People routinely share accounts, everything from Netflix to banks, and the process Spindle uses is in line with industry standards. Your employer may not authorize sharing this information.

Will you change anything inside my account?

We may need to make small changes in order to collect the data you’ve consented to provide.

Why do you need to log into my account?

Spindle’s core mission is to help workers own their data. Your account is one small piece of building a better future where individuals own the data they generate. By connecting your account, we are able to explore the structure of data and analyze how these systems are built, ultimately allowing us to standardize the information in a way that is useful across financial services.

Why did I receive a notification saying my account was logged in from a different location than I am at? Is my account hacked?

Spindle’s servers operate throughout the world, and because of our security protocols that monitor your account, your account could be accessed from one of many server locations. If you suspect unauthorized activity, please contact member support.

Can I quit the research program anytime?

Yes, you can opt-out at any time and all of your data will be immediately deleted. Reach out to member support or email us.

Will you use my data after I quit?

No, we immediately stop using your information.

What happens if I leave my workplace and can’t access my account anymore, can I still participate?

In order to participate in Spindle, you’ll need to have an accessible account with your employer(s). However, you don’t need to currently work there (only your account needs to be active and working).

Can I connect more than one account?

Yes – people work for multiple employers and you can connect multiple accounts.

What kind of accounts are you interested in?

We’re interested in an ever-evolving set of accounts – to see a full listing please contact members support.

Can I refer someone else to join?

Yes, we do offer a referral bonus. Please, email member support to learn more.

Can you give me a call instead of emailing/texting? I tried calling your number, but it didn’t go through.

Because our staff is global, and to efficiently assist members, our support team uses SMS and email to communicate. Text or email us and we’d be happy to help.

I changed my phone number, what should I do? I tried texting you from the new number but nobody replied.

How long will this research program last?

It is ongoing and we encourage your participation as long as you’re able to.

What are your working hours/when can I expect a response to my text/application?

We primarily operate on weekdays, around the clock, but sometimes we have an influx of requests and ask for your patience. We answer most weekday inquiries within 12 hours (weekend inquiries will be answered on the next business day).

How long is the onboarding process?

Typically, onboarding takes 10 minutes or less but does require you to be actively present during this time.

Where are you located/where’s your office?

Our team is global, remote-first without a physical office space.

When will I get paid? How will I get paid?

We currently use Paypal to process your funds. You should get paid immediately after application acceptance. You should know of your application status within 48 hours.

I don’t have a PayPal account, can you send me money in another way?

We’re actively working on expanding our payment methods. Please check in with member support.

My money is on hold, can you do anything about it?

Payment processors hold money when they need to undergo additional security checks, please reach out to your payment processor directly. We are happy to support you during this process but you’ll have to talk to them directly first.

When will I receive monthly payments?

The first business day of the month.

Can you send the monthly payment in advance?

Our payment system is automated and cannot be sent early.

How can I earn more money/increase my current monthly bonus?

By referring more people and by connecting more accounts to the Spindle platform.
